The Woodlawn Chamber of Commerce seeks a consultant to assist the WCC and Special Service
Area staff in completing the 2027 SSA Application as required by the City of Chicago
Department of Planning and Development for the purposes of starting the SSA-Woodlawn.

Specifically, the Consultant will be responsible for the following key elements, as taken from the
attached SSA Designation Steps, as well as any updates needed for the final SSA Application:

• Facilitate advisory committee meetings
• SSA Funding, Visioning and Boundaries

1. Project Plan
2. Vision Statement
3. Refine Boundaries
4. Prepare a Map
5. Prepare a PIN Database
6. Conduct a Needs Assessment
7. Establish metrics and baseline data
8. Determine the baseline data needed to track the SSA’s impact
9. City and other governmental services inventory
10. Prepare a draft legal description
11. Draft the SSA District Plan

Please include the following in your response to this RFP.

• Description and history of firm
• Bios / Resumes of Consultant(s) assigned to project
• Relevant prior experience
• At least three references.
• Please present examples of exhibit database tables to include additional information to be
  used in evaluating property, location, owner, tax, and property description details, among
  other database items, deemed relevant.
• Timetable for completion of each task. Please include task dependencies that need to be completed before other tasks can either begin or complete.
